Day 8 Restoration

Seeing my Mom's face when she saw the mural today, made me understand well,
that we are doing something good here.  A little thing in the scheme of things
that means a great deal to many people.

Dedicated to the GREATEST GROUP of guys in all of MANAYUNK.

More than a sponsor, Joe helped set up the scaffolding today and brought
down drinks for everyone.

Helen Tinneny, age 90, re-visits the mural 30 years later.

Donna Tinneny Persico and great nephew Phillip Chester.
Perhaps Phillip will restore the mural in another 30 years.

Olivia spends her second day helping at the mural.

A tired little helper.

Bernadette Wilkinson detailing a sponsor block.

Jim Lamont who got the restoration rolling and Bernadette Wilkinson
working on sponsor blocks.

Debbie Murphy Molnar and Olivia take a break from a long day of painting.

Sketch of slain Police Officer Gary Farrell's badge is
an addition to the original mural.
