Day 13 Restoration

We're staying until we're finished.

Dennis Carr and friend Donna Persico.

Stephanie Farrell sings commercial "Take Me to Friendly's"

Night painting on Main Street, Manayunk...note the car headlights on the left.

Painting or exercising???????????

Stephanie waits out a passing shower.

And then there was the accident which I do believe was caused by a driver distracted by the mural.

Stephanie continues to sing.

...and she sang so much she began to cry.

A proud Jim Lamont.

Such a big job for such a little lady!

So happy to be a part of it all.

So happy to be a MANAYUNKER!  We truly are unique in all the world...it's about the love and remembrance.

The Abington crew (Matt Wilkinson)

Pamela Wilkinson

Jim Lamont said to Stephanie and Donna: "Ya know ladies I'm just staying here tonight to protect you."  A second later he said, "But ya know, I think Stephanie could kick my ass!"

Thank you...

It is done except for a rose to be painted behind Gary Farrell's shield by Ashley Persico.

Final touch-ups by Jim Lamont.

Thank you...

Thank you....

Day 12 Restoration

Stephanie Farrell and Toni Cancellier...night painting on Main Street

Hello there Mr. Praying Mantis.

A hazard of Autumn painting ... falling leaves in paint!

Mr. Praying Mantis ended up on Donna's hand...YIKES!

A zoned-in Stephanie Farrell

The last sponsorship block to be painted.

The main mural is done.

Day 11 Restoration

Looking good.

That right there is new posturing for painting Steph!

Bern, you make it all look sooooooooooo easy.

A rare moment together for Donna and Rich

The queen of Long Beach Island calls Main and Green Lane, Manayunk her new home.

Up shot of Bernadette Wilkinson.

Bernie Scally during one of his many visits to the mural in his official capacity as associate editor of The Review

That's what it's all about folks.

It was during this time, when Stephanie Farrell was painting her slain husband's name, that I filled up.

It was a touching experience to have Stephanie paint with us this time around.

Mr. Lafferty...what a GREAT MAN. He is the only individual sponsored on the restored mural.

Almost done...3 more sponsorships to paint and the acknowledgment panels.
